About Savannah Bloody Mary Mix
Savannah Bloody Mary Mix is the first product of the newly formed Savannah Beverage and Brinery. Co-created by the husband and wife culinary team of Jeremy Diehl and Kelly Yambor, the mix takes traditional Bloody Mary flavors – the spice of fresh ground black pepper, garden fresh flavors of celery seed, tangy fresh tomato juice, and the brightness of fresh squeezed lemon – and adds a layer of savory, lingering umami. Umami, the mysterious fifth flavor, is the earthy component that makes a splash of fish sauce sing in a recipe; that makes slow-cooked beef broth so rich and comforting. Savannah Bloody Mary Mix is made with all natural ingredients.
About Jeremy and Kelly -- And Their Support of Education
Savannah Beverage and Brinery, LLC was co-founded in 2014 by the husband and wife culinary team of Jeremy Diehl and Kelly Yambor.
The couple are actively involved in the small school in their community of Tybee Island, Georgia. That passion, and the desire to support education, have led the couple to donate 3 percent of proceeds from Savannah Bloody Mary Mix to their local school.
When they are not concocting new recipes and being parents, the duo are co-chefs at the internationally known Elizabeth on 37th restaurant in Savannah, GA. Jeremy caught the cooking bug while working his way through a Fine Art degree from Virginia Commonwealth University – ultimately choosing a career in the kitchen instead of the studio. He moved to Savannah in 1998, where he met Kelly, a Michigan State University Food Science major who was already chef de cuisine at Elizabeth on 37th. They share a love of food with their 7-year-old son and the family basset hound, Jimmy.
